Q. What is Old West Christmas Light Fest?
A. Old West Christmas Light Fest is a holiday experience on a real Texas ranch in picturesque Boerne, TX. The 2020 season will be our seventh year of lighting up the holidays and our third year at Enchanted Springs Ranch. We have no affiliated events, so if you're not at Enchanted Springs Ranch, don't be fooled: you're not at the REAL Christmas Light Fest. Our holiday experience includes a light show, laser tag in the lights, mechanical bull rides, Santa's Holly Jolly Herd of longhorns, live music, food, and straight from the North Pole, Santa Claus himself! Brimming with activities and fun, our old West town is the perfect way to make lasting memories this holiday season.
Q. Is this a drive-thru event?
A. You’ll see lights before you even come through the gates at Enchanted Springs Ranch, but we are not a drive-thru event. If you stay in your car, you’ll miss all of the fun! You will drive through a path of lights before you park to enjoy the beautifully lit Old West town. Parking is free, and there’s plenty of it.
Q. Where are you located?
A. Old West Christmas Light Fest is located at Enchanted Springs Ranch at 242 State Hwy 46 W. Boerne, TX 78006. For some easy directions coming from San Antonio: -Drive north on IH 10 West-Exit the highway at exit 540-Turn left on Highway 46-Drive for three quick miles and enter the ranch on your right
You’ll know that you’ve found us when you see the lights! Please remember to drive carefully. We want all of our light lovers to be safe! And if you notice "Unit C" in our address and wonder what that's about, that's how we make sure Claus, as in Santa Claus, gets his mail while he's in Texas!
Event Dates and Times
Q. What days and times are you open?
A. Old West Christmas Light Fest will open Thanksgiving night for the 2020 season and will take place on select dates until Christmas day. See our calendar below for specific dates and opening and closing times.
Q. When is the best time to come?
A. Weekends (Friday and Saturday nights) are typically the busiest times around the ranch. The closer we get to Christmas, the more active it gets around the Old West town! Each night will vary, but arriving when the gates open at 6:00 PM is generally slower than later in the event. However, with all the space we have in our Old West town, guests can spread out so come out whenever you can!
Q. Do you ever close during the holiday season?
A. While we’re always in the holiday spirit, we also want to be sure that all of our fellow holiday lovers are safe. If bad weather forces us to dim our lights for the night, we will make announcements via our social media channels to let everyone know. If the event is closed, due to inclement weather, you will be able to use your ticket for another evening during the 2020 event season. Please contact customer service (info@christmaslightfest.com) for any questions or concerns you may have! We’ll also post a banner on the main page of the website with current event news.
