Not to be missed and new this year, is a synchronized musical light display created just for Old West Christmas Light Fest by the Hinojosa family of Boerne. You’ve probably seen the Hinojosa family’s viral videos of their synchronized light displays at their home that became a sensation on social media and were shown on national television. This year, the Hinojosa family shared their light love at Old West Christmas Light Fest, creating a show featuring some of your favorite songs sure to put a holiday smile on your face.
There are new activities at Old West Christmas Light Fest this year that are perfect for an active and engaging date night. Two different Escape Rooms are available where participants team up to help solve a holiday stumper. Or, try your hand at Laser Tag in the Lights, located among the trees filled with twinkle lights at the ranch. Team up with your partner OR plan to take them down in a good natured holiday battle. Either way, you’re sure to have a blast!
There are a variety of food trucks available at Old West Christmas Light Fest this year, taking the guesswork out of that age-old, date night conundrum of, “What do you want to eat. I don’t know…what do YOU want to eat? At Old West Christmas Light Fest, you each can eat from whichever food truck you wish, with food truck choices ranging from sushi to brats and everything in between!
Also new this year at Old West Christmas Light Fest is a creatively curated Candyland Instagram room, which provides the perfect lighting and backdrop for some adorable and truly “likeable” Instagram posts of you and your sweetie. After you’ve snapped your photos, head outside to roast some marshmallows for s’mores under a sky full of stars.
