Christmas traditions look different across Texas, but one thing stays the same: families are searching for meaningful ways to celebrate the season together. At Old West Christmas Light Fest, we have created a holiday experience that blends classic Christmas magic with the charm of the Texas Hill Country and the spirit of the Old West. In 2026, we are lighting up the holidays for the eleventh year, and our sixth at Enchanted Springs Ranch in Boerne.
A Christmas Festival with Texas Roots
Our festival lives inside a real Old West town. Enchanted Springs Ranch began as a Hollywood film set, and its 40-plus storefronts have appeared in films, commercials and music videos. Each holiday season, the saloons, general store, chapel and post office trade their tumbleweeds for twinkle lights. Holiday tunes drift down dirt streets, Santa’s Holly Jolly Herd of Texas longhorns stands ready to pull his sleigh, and a trick roper spins his lasso under the lights. There is nothing else quite like it in South Texas.
More Than Lights: A Full Holiday Experience
What truly sets Old West Christmas Light Fest apart is everything beyond the lights. Guests meet Santa at the Six Gun Saloon, dance along to live music at the Silver Spur, make ornaments with Operation Christmas Child, visit the Grinch Room, and watch the snow fall over the town square. Little ones can ride the new Barrel Train while big kids take on Laser Tag in the Lights. It is not just a walk-through; it is a whole evening spent making memories.
Creating Family Traditions That Last
We hear it every year: “This is our fifth time coming,” or “We bring the grandkids every December now.” Families come back for the same Santa photo spot, the same campfire, the same song they danced to last year. That is what a tradition is: something you look forward to all year because it is yours. We are honored to be part of so many families’ Christmas stories, and we cannot wait to welcome new ones this season.
We are open 5:00–10:00 PM on 15 nights: November 27, 28 and 29; December 4, 5 and 6; December 11, 12 and 13; and every night from December 18 through December 23, 2026.
Tickets are on sale now at christmaslightfest.com. Kids 5 and under are always free, and the NEW 2026 Season Pass makes it easy to come back all season long.
