Through the Years Strolling through the Memories of Light Fest

When we look back on previous seasons of Christmas Light Fest, there is definitely a lot to be thankful for. We are incredibly thankful for our customers, the memories, and the growth of this event over the past seven years. There is a lot that makes the Old West Christmas Light Fest a unique and exciting holiday tradition! Our team continues to improve and expand the event each and every year making it a premier San Antonio Christmas Event.

As we prepare for opening night in just two short weeks, we are finalizing details and we are highlighting some of our favorite things that make our Texas Christmas Festival a celebration that is a must-see in South Texas!

1. An Entire Old West Town Turned Into a Winter Wonderland

There are lots of options when it comes to deciding where to see Christmas lights in San Antonio. But none of these compare to the one-of-a-kind Enchanted Springs Ranch featuring a 6-acre Old West town! There are over forty western storefronts draped, wreathed, and wrapped with millions of twinkling holiday lights. We’ve taken Deck the Halls to a whole new level, a Texas-sized level!

Stroll the Old West town and experience the natural beauty of the Hill Country under the beautiful Texas stars. You’ll get to see longhorns nestled in their hay beds anxiously waiting to help Santa pull his sleigh! Roast s’mores by the fire taking in all the sights and sounds Christmas Light Fest has to offer.

4. Family Fun Activities to Get you in the Christmas Spirit

There are tons of activities perfect for all ages! The kids can explore the ghost town as they complete the scavenger, run through the dazzling Light maze, and challenge a friend at the outdoor lawn games! After enjoying a holiday treat, head into the Silver Spur Saloon to listen to live entertainment while sipping on delicious hot cocoa or a holiday beer.

5. Christmas Market Filled with Handmade Vendors and Holiday Treats

Support local businesses and get your Christmas shopping done! There’s definitely something for everyone on your list at our one-stop-shop Christmas market. Browse through dozens of beautiful, handmade wares and enjoy delicious food made by locally-owned vendors. While you’re shopping, you’ll hear the magical sounds of live entertainment every night, and you’ll see Christmas decorations galore with everything from Christmas trees to icicle lights.

6. Outdoor Christmas Lights with Plenty of Room to Spread Out

The outdoor Old West town is 6 acres of fun outdoor and indoor space. Bundle up and stroll through the millions of twinkling lights or warm up inside the saloons while shopping or visiting Santa. There’s so much space to safely enjoy a holiday celebration filled with beautiful light displays with your loved ones!

7. Free Photos with Santa

Pictures with Santa are a milestone for every family. Visiting with Santa and taking photos with the man in the big red suit is a necessity each year and Christmas Light Fest is pleased to offer this experience at no additional cost! Ditch the long, crowded lines at the mall and come out to the ranch where you’ll see Santa and so much more!

Pictures with Santa will look slightly different this year but will be just as magical! Social Distance, Health, and Safety have all been taken into consideration for taking pictures with Santa this year. 8. New Adventures

This year features a brand-new Mechanical Bull! Test your grit while trying to stay on as long as possible! Or team up with your friends and play laser tag under the lights! Both activities are available at an additional cost and tickets can be purchased at the event. Don’t forget your camera, you’ll want to remember this holiday adventure!

9. Holiday Eats & Treats

We’re excited to offer a variety of locally-owned food vendors ready to serve up some holiday cheer! Our food selections vary from weekend to weekend but you can always expect s’mores, hot cocoa, popcorn, hot dogs, turkey legs, funnel cakes, soda, beer and wine, and Santa’s favorite Christmas cookies!
